Early Career and Challenges
Jarmanpreet began his international career with the India U21 team, earning 12 caps between 2013 and 2014. His senior debut came in 2018 during the Men's Hockey Champions Trophy in Breda, where India secured the silver medal. However, his journey faced a setback in 2015 when he was banned for two years due to a failed doping test, resulting from a painkiller prescribed by his doctor for back pain. Despite this challenge, he remained dedicated to the sport, training with his brother during the ban period, and made a successful return to the national team. citeturn0search3
